The software is available for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS. It is very easy to use and works very reliably – and best of all: you do NOT need Adobe Acrobat!
With PdfGrabber you can convert PDF single pages into all important image formats (PNG, JPG, JPG2000, BMP or TIFF). PDFs consisting of several pages can also be saved as multi-page TIFF files.
Select the desired resolution or quality. Scaling and compression are also adjustable. If desired, the image can also be saved in grayscale. The output of comments, annotations and texts can be deactivated.
In addition to the raster and pixel graphic formats mentioned above, PdfGrabber also gives the option to convert vector-based PDF files into vector graphics (SVG, EMF).
Select which elements should be included in the graphic: Text, images, annotations, lines and paths. You can also set the compression (SVGZ).
With PdfGrabber you can export and save all images contained in the PDF document.
Choose in which format you want to save the images: TIF, JPG, JPEG2000, BMP, PNG, EMF. Quality (compression), page scaling, resolution (DPI), color depth and color space can be adjusted (the possible options depend on the selected output format).
If desired, comments or annotations from the PDF can also be included in the images.

The trial version includes all the features of PdfGrabber Professional, but it randomly adds ‘Xs’ to the exported texts. Graphics and images are watermarked. CAD drawings are 2/3 exported. Naturally, these restrictions no longer apply upon activation of the full version.
